Dave Villwock wins the Madison Regatta in the U-1 Spirit of Qatar 96 in impressive fashion. Steven David and the U-1 Oh Boy! Oberto could not catch the “Bullet from Ballard”, even after securing inside lane position, due to the all-time win leader’s nearly-perfect start. The 1 outpointed the 6 by only 20 points for the weekend, 1600 to 1580. Scott Liddycoat checked in with a solid weekend and 1310 points in the U-88 Degree for Men. The fleet will head next to Detroit for the running of the prestigious Gold Cup. Madison points are posted but still unofficial. Points will be updated after H1 posts official scoring.
