The 2012 APBA Gold Cup is in the books and Deck2Deck points are now official and match the tally at H1Unlimited.com. Dave Villwock put his name on the trophy for a tenth time and Deck2Deck players who selected the U-1 Spirit of Qatar 96 collected 2050 points for the weekend. The Lamb-Weston Columbia Cup begins in less than two weeks. Start working on your fantasy strategy for the western swing of the H1 Unlimited Air National Guard Series. Great race in Detroit with a lot of action but man is Villwock going to be stopped this year. It doesn’t look like anyone has anything for him yet lol. Posted on: Jul 16 2012 11:18 AM UTC |

Looks like DV has em all covered. I still have the 1 to use. took the 6 in the GC and was a bit disapointed, but probably not as bad as folks who had the 11 or 88. The 5 and 37 look like pretty solid picks for WA. What do you think? Posted on: Jul 16 2012 08:07 PM UTC Edited on: Jul 16 2012 08:20 PM UTC |

Yeah they do. I also picked the u6 for the GC was a bit disapointed but could have been worse like you said. I def think the 5 and 37 will b pretty solid picks at tri-cities. I also hope the 17 gets back into things in the west coast. I think they have run into a little bad luck or something. The way things were last year and there performance and the end of the season I would have almost bet this year that the 17 was going to run deck2deck with the 6 and 1 but that hasn’t been the case so far. HydroDan- Where is the best place to get the latest info on the statuses of the 3 boats that flipped at the Gold Cup? Posted on: Jul 17 2012 05:35 PM UTC |

I am the best place to get the info :) The U-11 and U-88 will be fixed and ready to run the Western swing of the series. The U-22 however put out a new article that they were done for the season as the repairs are too extensive and expensive. Posted on: Jul 18 2012 02:46 PM UTC |

Other than Jayson, I would say FB is a pretty good source for up to the minute Team info as most Teams post updates and also answer questions from fans. Jayson is on the money though. The 22 is done for the year. The Websters are currently trying to raise the needed funds to make the repairs for 2013. I do not know of any lease being arranged. The 88 and 11 should be back for TC. The 18, 21, and 99 also join the fleet so 14 race boats should be in the pits in TC. Posted on: Jul 19 2012 05:16 AM UTC |

The 22 team had talked to us (u-100) about leasing the backup elam (boeing hull) but in order to run that they needed a good “Fred gearbox”. We however were not sure if we had any to spare seeing as we are running 2 boats on the west coast swing. We informed them that other teams had these gearboxes such as the U-21 team and Ken Muscatel. Not sure if they were going to go forward with that decision or not though. Posted on: Jul 19 2012 10:09 AM UTC |

Thanks Jayson. Graet to have a Team member playing D2D and active in the forum! How can I get my hands on a “Fred Shirt”? Posted on: Jul 20 2012 05:02 PM UTC |

It is a fine thing to do during the racing season….I can get 1 when I head to Tri-Cities next weekend. Where are you from? Or send me an email to blazer_c19@hotmail.com and I’ll get some info for you. Posted on: Jul 20 2012 05:46 PM UTC |
