It’s all lemons for the U-13 Spirit of Detroit as owner Dave Bartush has announced his team will not be heading west to Washington this season. Mechanical issues have plagued the lemon and lime sled during the first two contests of the season and rendered it off-plane and on the beach.

The U-22 Matrix Systems is also out of the mix following season-ending damage incurred during their devastating flip at the Gold Cup. With the additions of the U-18, U-21, and U-99 it appears to be a 13-boat field for the Lamb Weston Columbia Cup in Tri-Cities, Washington.
