“The 100 will not be anywhere near the capability of the U-11. I’m not sure how close you follow the sport or keep up with crews or teams……but the 100 team is not going to stand much of a chance and will probably win the golden tow rope award this year. They do not have a team as they fired multiple key people after the death of Fred. This boat is just another back marker this year. Their motor program is shot since they fired their main person who built them, but what do I know. I’ll place a side wager to say they may even be on the outside looking in as far as making it to Doha and if they do it will not be a competitive boat.”….Jayson2919
I tried to resist reposting this but I can’t. I spoke of being to close to the trees to see the forest, well some people just are. You can not watch these boats and predict based on your feeling you need to know what you are looking at, and you will only be right 70% of the time, I’m not sure how close you follow the sport." kind of ticked me off, now here we go into San Diego with the 100 slightly ahead of the 11. Who could have known??
