Successful Oberto appeal changes Bayfair fantasy points

On October 31, more than a month after San Diego Bayfair, H1 declared a new winner of the 2012 Bill Muncey Cup. The U-6 Oh Boy! Oberto was disqualified in the final heat due to a fuel flow violation. The Miss Madison team appealed this decision and Jimmy Shane’s victory in the U-5 Graham Trucking was uncertain. Following an investigation by an H1 appeals committee, the Oberto appeal was found to have merit, and their DSQ was changed to to a first-place finish. This turn of events changed the outcome of the final for all participants and also the total accumulated points for the weekend.
