Porter prominence continues in Qatar. J. Michael Kelly captured checkers and his second win for Mr. Porter on Doha Bay. This race win marks the 5th win in 6 races at the UIM World Championships for Ted Porter’s big red boats. Jimmy Shane in the U6 Oberto was able to hold onto the National Points lead to recapture the U-1 designation for the City of Madison in 2015. The 2080 points scored by JMK in the U1 was enough to propel Miss Chrysler Crew Fan – Sacramento; CA to 8055 points for the year to edge Matt Sontag for the Deck2Deck Championship by a mere 43 points. Bingomzan rounded out the D2D podium with 8001 points on the season. Congratulations to our new champion and to our podium finishers! We will see you in 2015 race fans!
