The Madison Regatta scores we posted following the conclusion of the race have been updated to match what is currently on the H1 results page. It appears that 70 points were taken away from the U7 for their third place qualifying finish for some mysterious reason, and as such, the total accumulated points for boats that qualified below the 7 were bumped up. We have an inquiry into H1 but have not received any word on why the scoring changes occurred. The standings now reflect the most current scoring from H1 and we will keep you informed if, and when we receive word from H1 regarding the scoring changes. I received word from the H1 office that the U-7 also had an N2 violation and lost their third fastest speed. They should have received a “time not recorded” instead of a 136 mph as listed currently on the H1 results tab. The Deck2Deck standings reflect these changes.
